How can I become a guide?

In order to become a guide you must be at least a good intermediate level skier. We train new guides on Wednesday evenings during the months of January and February. Our Ski School instructors will teach you how to safely guide blind skiers on all types of downhill runs, Please complete our contact form for more information.

How do I join the Ski Hawks?

Membership is open to all Visually Impaired and blind people over the age of 8 that have skied or would like to learn how to ski. Please complete our Contact form and and we will contact you and give you more details.

What equipment do I need?

Helmets and safety glasses or goggles are required, these can be purchased at most ski shops or large sports stores. Skis, boots, and poles can be rented at the areas we ski if you do not have your own.

How often do the Ski Hawks go skiing?

We ski twice a week, Wednesday evenings and Saturday's, during the months of January and February with our last ski day on the first Saturday in March. The Wednesday evenings are primarily training sessions for new skiers and new guides.
